Alberta. Overview.
To say ‘overview’ is an understatement. That could mean oversize when it comes to Alberta. It is one of the biggest, most western of the prairie provinces. Wonderful wide open spaces, the romance of the prairie with golden grass rustling soothingly in the wind bending this way and that. Catch sight of a small farmhouse here and there, barely detectable in the distance as it snuggles between a couple of tall trees protected from the wind like a treasured offspring.
Although the Canadian Rockies are so famous they are not as big as they are supposed to be! They just make people feel as if they are huge. This is because their angles make them seem enormous when you are up close to them, making being near them an extraordinary sensation.
The glacier mountain lakes are such an amazing blue of azure turquoise you will be taken back by the sheer dazzle of the emerald green. The colours are unbelievable and an experience to savour and remember on those dark days in the office. Be lifted by the memory of a unique experience in an amazing landscape. You would have to pinch yourself to believe that some of the scenery in Alberta is real. It is not a highly populated province which contributes to the awe inspiring effect Alberta’s sights hold for its travellers. The wonderful ski resorts of Banff and Lake Louise are prime examples of two of the best resorts in two of the best landscapes you are ever likely to see, in any winter anywhere.
