Banff and Lake Louise. Overview.
Banff Resort, set in the Rocky Mountains, is in one of the most beautiful settings in Canada. The wide Avenue lined with Alpine type shops, restaurants and serious ski possibilities leads to the base of the amazing Rocky Mountains. In the winter covered by snow and lit by Christmas lights it is the most enchanting town . It is surpassed by Banff’s ski area which is the largest in Canada. With its mountain peaks and the glass clear glacier fed waters of Lake Louise, this stunning sight will last in your memory and lift your spirits for as very long time. Lake Louise and Banff are linked by a free bus service and the Tri Lift Pass ski ticket. You want pristine powder conditions? Then Banff and Lake Louise give that and the best skiing conditions for snowboarding too. Stay in Banff Castle at Banff Springs or one of the cosy lodgings.
While Banff is best for experienced skiers, Lake Louise is good for beginners where the same lift pass can be used.
