Beaver Creek. Overview.
In the heart of the Rocky Mountains it is the younger brother of Vail Ski resort which has been developed about as far as it can go! Known by some as the ‘Beave’ it has established its reputation as being less hyper than Vail and more laid back for lower intermediates. Although it has fewer expert terrains than Vail some advanced skiers and professionals prefer skiing down famous Grouse Mountain, an important attraction for skiers and tourists alike. There are 110 acre steep runs which are less crowded than Vail therefore easier for the serious skier and there are slopes which are easier for the beginners and intermediates too. It has a friendly village like atmosphere which some find has a smaller European relaxed feel to it. There are many good affordable places to stay as well a varied choice of restaurants.
