Snowmass. Overview.
This environmentally friendly resort has a purpose and personality unique amongst ski resorts. It is usually spoken of in the same breath as Aspen although having a very different aspect to Aspen. While being a top ski resort it is also great for holidays all the year round. Being small and village-like there is a wide variety of winter activities and attractions which you waste no time finding. Being close to other major resorts such as Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk, it is also ideal to stay in as base to visit those busier resorts as and when you choose. The Aspen/Pitken County Airport is the nearest airport a few miles away, so it is easy to travel from Europe or the US.
