If you do not want to spend too much money then Heavenly Ski Resort is a brilliant choice for you because it is also great for skiing. Like other resorts it is set high in the Alpines. Having been redeveloped recently there is a new powerful gondola. It has attracted many more professional skiers and holidaymakers which make it an exciting efficient skiing resort. The gondola takes you to the top of the mountain from which there are breathtaking views of the lake, the unique azure colour of which defies any artist or photographer to capture. Heavenly itself crosses the California Nevada border so it has casino hotels one end, and as well as the normal bars and restaurants. Perhaps you could gamble one side of Heavenly, then with your winning eat in your favourite restaurant on the California side?!
